Has anybody got one of these? Was thinking about putting one on my R12 for target and plinking. Finding the Veyron a bit frustrating (I'm a fussy sod with optics) so was looking for a bit of an upgrade.

There was one for sale on here in the last week or so.
I have the fixed 10 mag version and I’m very happy with it.
Glass is lovely and clear and the reticle is nice.
I had the CP 40 before this - and liked that but the illuminated reticle on the ES swayed me over to it, pleased I did the swap.

I've got the 3-12 es and I'm very happy with it, it's on my hft rig at the mo and I switched out a cp for it. I'd say it's brighter than the cp. It's got a nice ret and I also got it partly for the ret being illuminated. I think I'm actually going to put this on my FX crown and put a viper PST on my hft rig, only as it's a smaller scope. I am a bit of an optisan fan to be fair and this is a nice scope.

I have 2 X 4-16x44 EVX SFP scopes on two of my air rifles, one a PCP and the other a springer. I really like the Optisan scopes, the ret is clear of fuss and they track great with nice positive clicks. If it’s any recommendation to you, I also use two of the same EVX SFP scopes in 3-12x44, both on springers and an EVX SFP 6-24x50 on another PCP. Never had a problem with any of them. 👍

If it's got Optisan written on it it's generally pretty good for an air rifle, I've had x2 EVX and a CP, I would say in their price bracket they're probably the best quality for the money.

I’ve got my eye on the ES for £300 and a very discounted new frontier for £540. The frontier has a bit more reach, and I’ve had a great experience with my 1 inch tube version, but I’m not sure I can justify the cost
