Bought this a few years ago on the old AGF. Cant remember the full specifics but iirc it has an Aussie seal and has been tuned to shoot quite a bit below its intended power to give a very nice shot cycle. I’ll chrono it tomorrow. Here it is with a.177 barrel fitted and a spare interchangeable .22 barrel. I think it’s one of the early 1980’s models.

Very nice pistol. I got one recently.

If you’ve had it a while it’s probably overdue for a strip and clean. You can check the seal while you’re in there.

Easy enough to take them apart and get all the grease out. Then lube with some high moly non detonating lube and you’re back in business.

Apart from some use in Covid it’s sat in my gun safe for most of the time I’ve had it so I think it will be okay as it is. Be good to get what year it was made though. I think the serial number is under the pistol grips. I also owned one of these when they first came out circa 83? Took it to venom arms for a tune up and to be honest I was quite disappointed when it came back as it felt no different to cock and shoot.

Yes the serial number is under the left grip

the pistol is more like a Beeman P1 non optic sights much better in my mind
and this take it apart fix it when it is shooting fine for me complete nonsense
how many threads have been posted here with members rebuilding there HW45 and can't figure out why it is screw up
the answer is too damn many just shoot the pistol

I picked up an older 45 on here not so long ago, I really love it. Fitted a .177 barrel and it shoots really well. Not even slightly tempted to tinker or take it apart (apart from the barrel). Someone in the past had loctite’d the barrel retaining screws in though and I had to destroy one to remove it. £5 plus post for two screws!!! Worth it though, great fun to shoot!

I have an older one that i think the seal has gone in it, been sat there a couple of years now, i was told they were awkward to work on
