I’ve been looking for another boinger and fancied taking a look at the Norica Storm, but while searching I see Norica offer a recoiless Omnia in a Kalibrgun style walnut stock

Anyone own or shot one !

What are Norica’s like

Chris

I’m sure that’s the one the bloke on air guns of Alaska has.
It looks very nice and accurate to.

I just searched that and yes there’s the tactical looking one and a wood stocked version, they are available here so I thought I’d ask

That looks very interesting in that vid 😎

Yes
He is now stocks Norica 👍
He does indeed I plan on reviewing as many as possible this year. Norica make some good stuff and a bit like Cometa they're underrated here. I've got my eyes on the Omnia, Marvic and the Black Eagle. I've already shot the Storm and the Hawk and they were excellent.

Norica's gas rams are some of the nicest I've shot.

Oh leave it out Dan , I’ll have to move further away.

@Big Dan , can you get a norica b36f in .177 ?

I have a Norica Dragon 177 , here in Spain.
I bought it a few years ago, but the heavy spring ( was shooting over 1300 f/sec) within Spanish law, made it hard to cock, and nasty to shoot.
I eventually stripped it down about a year ago, trial and error, eventually shortened the main spring by 35 mm.
Now , beautiful to shoot, at 10.6 foot pounds, easy to cock, and good enough to hole all shots at 38m, through a 40 mm circle with open sights.
Its now my favourite plinking tool and all round fun gun .
No work on the trigger, however , the lighter spring has made it overall much better too.
So far , about 5 tins of various pellets, not fussy at all.
Likes Gamo and BSA Elite , which suits me , at less than E4 a tin in the local hardware shop .

I just had a look at the prices of the Dragon in UK !!!!

That is considerably more than we pay here !!

I guess its the Brexit to blame for the severe import duties .

Funny hey, import duties were originally thought up to protect local industries from cheaper products elsewhere, to support local industries .
Now I suspect its another way for governments to screw the public out of more money, while allowing local producers to load the prices !!

Maybe I'm just an old sceptic, and need to go back to pre internet days, and mind my own business ....

@Big Dan , can you get a norica b36f in .177 ?
Hey Paul!

Sadly not I'm afraid it's a Norconia rifle not a Norica. Very pretty rifle though very similar to the Hammerli Hunter Force 900 underlever which I can get.

I wouldn't like to say if it's the same rifle or not but the trigger safety and anti bear trap release are very similar. Slight differences to the stock though.

I recently purchased the Omnia in .22" from our classifieds, thanks @FBWJunkie
It really is recoiless. I've found it pellet fussy, but it's working with 5.53mm FTT. Sub 20mm groups seem the norm, standing supported.

@Big Dan if memory serves, the action in the Omnia is the Norica Hawk, so if you shot and liked it, I'll guess the recoilless part of the Omnia will make it better. I do like the new wood stocked version of the Omnia but over here in the US, it has a $500+ price tag.
I do have one Norica in the arsenal, the Deadeye GRS. Had to order it from Aceros de Hispania since at the time, it wasn't a model the one retailer here in the US carried. Mine is in .22. Supposed to have all the bells and whistles of their top line rifles but in the tactical style stock. Nice shot cycle with the gas ram and makes around 17fpe.
