, i had an accident on my honda 700 deauville this morning fell
off on some diesel nr a roudabout broke my l/hand side pannier lid.
my self a badly bruised left leg , some ribs hurting but i think
not broken , left shoulder is bruised but ok i am going to be
hurting in the morning, so no shooting for a while, but lucky
i got off lightly.

this is why the older i get the less i ride in wet weather although if diesel was on the road it makes no difference if its wet or dry .
If you can smell it , your on it

Boneset(comfrey) ointment helps too as does calcium suppliment tablets.

Spun a Capri in the early 90s on a diesel spill. Hurts a lot less on 4 wheels. Hope you make a quick recovery.

Sorry to hear this, i had a spill a couple of years ago and it put me off enough (along with the tongue lashing from the wife) to stop riding... hope you mend quickly
