Hi All,

Just found out that the only proper pellets i know of for my Webley Mk3, are not being made any more... What the heck are all of us with old british guns going to do now??

Pellets...webp

If that is the case then it's a shame.

I usually try to put .22" pellets in my Ancient Brits but honestly any other 5.5mms seem equally in/ accurate in my hands.

Recently the nearest conveniently available pellets online were labelled 5.53mm which is just under 0.03" (0.00275"ish) compared to 5.6mm.

5.5mm even closer,obviously.

Has anybody tried using a micrometer on pellets to establish whether this is more than the usual variation in mass production?
Especially, in this case, the older style allegedly 0.22" pellets.

Just wondering out aloud.....

I think it pretty well just leaves L.J.Cammell left over here. Not sure what they actually make still in terms of pellets, if any.
