Am I correct in saying that Nikon no longer manufacture rifle scopes?, many thanks for any replies.

Stopped some time in 2020 I think.

Apparently, internal policy rather than lack of sales.

Discontinued and as one agent put it

"We were told to remove any hero shots of hunters with their products,” says the former marketer, who also asked not to be named. “There could be no dead animals at all in any Nikon promotional images. And then we were told there couldn’t be any people in the branding images. They wanted to show only live animals, and no dead animals."

IIRC they were stopping about three years ago now, but still making binoculars and spotting scopes

it's a shame as they made some cracking scope, I would imagine they would still honour their scope warranties, well hopefully?.

Yeah I went to the states in 2019 and managed to get a P1 Tactical with the 300blk reticle before they stopped making them.
I did hear they'd been nobbled by antis saying they'd stop buying their twitcher gear if they didn't!
Not sure if that's true or not but the result is a fact, I'd put them on par with Bushnell really, nice scopes.Screenshot_20220420-113146_Samsung Internet.jpg
