Now the Steyr is back from its first service since it was manufactured in 2014
, the new Falcon T50i+ has been mounted.
I have to admit, for the money the scope is excellent, I've owned the X50 and the first Gen T50 which I didn't rate personally and I have to admit the new + is better than the X50.
I have the T50i also and the + is so much better optically. Both scopes are built exceptionally well, the turrets are super tactile, there is a feeling of quality throughout.
The screw in caps on the + are a higher upgrade, they can be angled to suit, plus once they're screwed in, they can further be rotated so that the flip up can be left at whichever degree you like.
There is a zero stop but I've not used it as yet, the illuminated centre dot is pin sharp, the sunshade had some weight, and is not some cheap, flimsy after thought.
Only the windage turret has a screw on cover, and the illuminated dial turns off between each click.
The photo of the sight picture is as expected not a true representation of the picture if looking through the scope.
I'll be zeroing it later to get the rifle ready for 25 yard BR practice.
All in all, if you're looking for a good quality scope, with very crisp, bright optics that doesn't flare at high mag, I'd certainly consider the Falcon.
Anyway, enough chat... Pics
