New Daystate Huntsman Revere

lovely. Mine loves barracuda 8’s -
Might be a good place to start for pellet testing

Send it to @nobby for a riser 👍
Best money you’ll ever spend on a huntsman 😉
That’s what I’ve been thinking of doing mate I’ve cleaned it all out set reg back at 110 as it had creeped, put a titanium cylinder on and redone the stock and I think a cheek riser is the cherry on top.

Stupid me, I have t ask, what is HNGD? I am prepared to feel foolish after receiving answer.

Hngd 👍🏻 love my revere it’s super accurate but I do find it a bit noisy compared to my other guns

Get yourself a mod from @mattw975
You can find him on the forum.
I first got one in .177, and now in .20, for my Regal.
It’s quieter than anything I’ve shot it next to so far. And very reasonably priced. 👍

Problem with Daystate Revere. This is was mentioned above regarding high scope mounts. When I took this gun out of the box and shouldered it was a perfect fit. If it had had iron sights I could have , I believe, hit any target on my range. I have owned Krieghoff and Perazzi shotguns that did not fit any better. But, when you scope it with rings high enough to let the scope clear the magazine that fit goes away. That is relative to me and some people may not have that problem. I not complaining about the gun, well maybe a little, anyway I talked with Airguns of Az, and they are sending me a different of set of rings. I will keep you posted as this saga continues.

Hope you get on better with lower rings 👍
It does look from your pictures that you should be able to come down at least quarter of an inch.
Fingers crossed that that is enough 🤞

I had the same problem when i had my Revere,
With the Revere's stock low comb and the need for high mounts to clear the magazine can make for poor alignment.
I ended up getting the Safari stock with the built in cheek riser.
The only other options at the time was either to get a cheek riser conversion or exclusively shoot single shot, negating the need for the magazine and high mounts.

It is a common issue across the huntsman range unfortunately.
I factored in the cost of having the conversion done when I was getting one. Well worth it. And I actually think it improves the lines of the gun IMHO

It's a common problem and is mentioned across a lot of threads, you can get different mags to bring the scope height down, or it's get the stock done, it shouldn't have to be done but it does, the gun will look just as nice but you'll be able to get the sightline right.

Isn't the action on the the Regal lower than that of the Revere ?

I've got a Regal now and i don't really have an issue with the standard walnut stock with high mounts unlike when i had a Revere
