Hi Folks, just back from the above comp. I haven't chucked a lead in 10 years so it was a surprise when an old friend messaged me could I come and fish for their team. Basically I was there to make up the numbers
. A frantic search of
the homestead to find my gear and some rushed rig making commenced. Norfolk police were hosting and I was fishing Kelling and Weybourne beaches. Christ I hate those shelving shingle beaches! A total nightmare with all the gear and a far peg. Still I didn't blank and had a great time with 2 old friends of mine I haven't seen in 10 years, the craik was epic!
A few lessons learned, better organization of the tackle box, more rigs, pyramid leads! and continental rods with fixed spool reels. Oh and get fitter
