Hi guys , new chrono arrived and so far so good as it’s DIY assembly. What I can’t find or understand is what the little LED light is for? It’s mentioned on the assembly vid and show where it fits but what the hell is if for? Also it getting the screen illuminating. cheers
 
I think the light is used in place of the display when you shoot from a distance when calculating ballistic coeficients of pellets. I have not tried it yet but there is a video somewhere. I think you need a Steady shot as a paired device.
