Just a run-of-the-mill Buck 119, such a great knife!

We have a huge number of knife manufacturing here in Sweden due to our iron tradition of producing Swedish steel, especially Sandvik.

Besides Mora, Frost, Fällkniven and EKA, there are numerous other smaller businesses in the trade here. Foreign knifes are therefore rare and sometimes even frown upon, unfortunately.

Brilliant knives - I have recently rediscovered an appreciation for the 110.
I think Buck got it spot on when they first started making these 60 odd years ago.

BOS - Bucks heat treater, do a really great job with the steel too.

I was so happy with the 110 that I bought a 119 too...

It has mainly seen use as a food prep knife..

I love the steel, easy to sharpen and very sharp indeed, performs way better than a 400-steel should, probably due to its heat treatment. Actually a stunning kitchen knife (!), superb for dressing chicken and cut meat.
