The first thing I do on a new gun is paint over any of the hideous white writing.My airsoft KWC 1911 blowback is a version with no trades or hideous white writing on it.
Very realistic looking (I think, but I've not owned a real one to compare) & field strippable.
Even though it's airsoft - it doesn't need a defence as its CO2 powered and over 1 joule in energy.
A little bit of artificial wear and it would be just about a perfect replica I reckon.
It's not a question of forking out for one - if I could find one I'd buy it!
The only problem with steel airsoft pistols is the slides are heavy so the blowback is a bit lethargic. Even CO2 struggles to shift a steel slide back with much force. I've got an all steel Glock and an all steel P226 and they both suffer from this, but they are lovely to play with![]()
