I've not shot it yet as I wanted a scope on it so didn't bother using the opens.
I was surprised I needed high mounts, the action block isn't very high so it looks a bit weird, the only other option was an old Nikko 3-4x40 Gold crown.

With a little work the triggers can be exceptional and made fully 2stage adjustable thay are hardened and can take being polished.
Great scope by the way.

Yes I found that, need high mounts as the stock is low profile so to speak . Never tried opens and with stock, but can imagine not comfortable . I started with an optisan red dot and soon found out I couldn’t use to its potential . So the UTG bug was bought specifically for the mito (3-12x32). Little over kill , but at 25yrd targets it was holding its own against the R10(pre huma Reg and blue print work).

I couldn’t resist a second with recent sales , my plan was opens…..but nope, red dot again as I feel I’m getting more chance of its potential. This time a little hawke one as the optisan as another home on a pp700

I must say I'm loving mine at the moment, I got it for a decent price just before Xmas from my RFD (not pellpax money but I was happy to support my local).

I have it set up as above for about 25/30yds and more recently just with the red dot as a pistol, a discipline which with practice I can see being really rewarding.

Great fun for the money, very tempted to get another. Also with the full length HW mod it really is practically silent.

The konus 3 x is a cracking little thing. Even though I've just seen them a bit cheaper at ramsbums. Oh well.
