Both my guns showing spurious readings, a few consistent, then really low.
Is there a way to reset the 2.5 chrony, just to rule it out?

No errors

If no errors show, then it means both sensors read the same speed within a certain tolerance. This is super odd!
First step is always a clean - toothbrush & vac, then careful cotton tips if needed.

Go to the shop.natechrony site & grab a software update (will get it done next week when back) too.

Cleaned as instructed, no sign of any debris or dirt,however...we're back in the game
Thanks for taking time out 🎅🍻🍻

Sorry to borrow your thread & merry Christmas to all.
Just received my v2.5 and keep getting a screen like this. Any ideas why? On iPhone 15. I’ve not updated any firmware on the chrony.

thanks for the quick reply. I have been able to connect the WiFi and bring up the page. It occasionally works okay upon first connection but navigate to any other page or refresh and it goes back to showing the field names.

That is because your device isnt running the code on the page, most likely because it disconnected.
Turn off any VPNs, *maybe* turn off mobile data (some UK people have had to do this)

The underlying issue is down to horrible software & poor decisions on mobile phones (you'll have the same issues with smart plugs/devices) - they've been programmed to disconnect from Wi-Fi if there's no internet. Someone made the assumption that *every* Wi-Fi network MUST have internet... and if it has no internet, never send data to it - despite it having working devices.

The best troubleshooting step is to try with a PC/Laptop (they do as they're told), then on the mobile device - put it into flight mode, then enable Wi-Fi & connect.

yeah long days... early for US support & late for UK...
Most customers arent too bad - its a good forcing function though.

If i make a crappy product & get loads of issues - I know what they are & can fix them. Painful at the start, but leads to a good product thats easy to use for the vast majority of people.

Only frustrating thing is when people whinge online, post a comment on a YT video or forum, & dont even try to email/reach out to me 🤣
