I used to have a Umarex blowback P08 and got about 45 shots per capsule. As stated above a very pointable gun and it was great fun until it went fully auto and emptied the mag in less than 1 second. You might not think these recoil much but when it fired about 15 shots in a brrrrrrrrrrrp the heighest shot was about 12" above the bull and that was at 6yds!

Mine went full auto too, but a new trigger unit / blowback pawl solved it - until this one also fails!

I bought two but sold the standard brown gripped one and kept the Parabellum as it could be field stripped!

I've shot most handguns, & owned a 1911 back in the day, none of them compared to the 1911 IMO on the range,

When my dad was a kid his mate got his dad's 'spoils of war' Luger out and they took it down the fields to shoot. There was something wrong with the breech so they dare not shoot it in usual fashion but shot it at arms length while looking away.. Which turned out badly when the friend accidentally shot some creature at long range they shouldn't have shot and in no way intended to shoot with it. They knew the owner of this creature and at least let him know.

Sounds a bit like Peter Kay & the broom handle Mauser story
