.22 ? Ok But the Nice to shoot aspect is subjective , and can mean anything from a good gun fit for AN individual to the fact the gun is heavy like a walther LGV or even a HW97 etc, some guns are horrible for other reasons yet may have all the afore mentioned merits mentioned here.
So "Nice to shoot" as a term my answer must be my choice , and be a answer with consideration that if used i have seen or can imagine based on my experience of any rifle that stands out as awesome incredible accurate and i personaly get great pleasure from using it, and the more i use it the more i want to.
This Is my choice for a .22 spring powered air rifle i simple adore love to shoot its incredibly accurate a match a genuine match for anything i have ever shot and is yet balanced in stock form and not a lump to lug about yet its shot cycle is in no way harsh even though its 11+ftlbs power output .
The .22 BSA Superstar.
If you put this rifle in an uncompromising Custom Target stock with even more feft to it the performance would be even better but in factory churned out spec its truly incredible to use its lovely in every way its only not my number 1 springer because i want other aspects in my number 1 this rifle can never meet because i have only owned it for 5 months not 5+ decades.
Yep! Just as a pick up load and use springer of my experience and indeed ownership, the .22 BSA Superstar in so so nice to use it excels at anything you give it to do and never gets old hat its just a growing affection with use, i imagine a properly fitted for self tailored custom target stocked example would be sublime in the extreme.
I am a huge HW fan and have a decent crop of what i would term decent springers there are lighter there are older springers i have yet that superstar ticks so many boxes the remit of this thread just shouts out for me to recommend it here so i have. .22 BSA Superstar.
