Let’s see your markers and T4e’s 😀

I’ve fitted mine with these and yes does make a small difference. However the shot count is lower of actual usable shots. For example…. Say you might get 5 mags of 8. With this you get 4 mags. Initial mag is higher power. I have found I do get fairly consistent mag power though after the initial mag. It’s not ground breaking in any way though.
Yup, this, still, a bit more power is a bit more power though, lol.

Thanks @ven think I prefer better average power over 4 mags than 1 high power and three meh! Lol

Thanks for the reply mate. 👍🏻

It’s tricky to explain, I have found the average higher over less mags if makes sense. A little trick that makes as much, if not more difference. When remove mag, hold or make sure hand is on the can. Load mag slow with the 8 balls. The heat from hand back into the can, defo increase power on the following mag. I’ve jumped back up to over 3fpe on 3rd mag. Been a while since used them all. Iirc the spring made a difference of about 0.5 fpe

Hello guys

.i have a question.i purchased recently the conversion kit.the front side of the barrel of the conversion kit if you put your finger its a little bit loose.like moving a little bit .does it do the same to you?

Hi Basi, and welcome to the forum.
What conversion kit are you talking about, the carbine kit for the HDR50 ?
I think you are, in which case yes, a tiny bit of movement is normal, though yours looks like its moving more than mine did.
You can open it up and pad it with a bit of electrical tap, it doesn't effect performance in any way.

Yea its the carbine kit for the hdr50.thank you for the reply.my main concern was if with that tiny movement the aim to the target will be lost.but i think its a common thing this movement

The movement will not affect the accuracy or power levels at all because the barrel in the carbine kit is a larger diameter than the pistol, so the rounds will pass through the carbine barrel without even touching the sides. :)

Little update with the HK416 as I wasn’t over the moon with the cheap scope on it . I had bought a couple of decent prism scopes and these ended up on the m17 and T15. As it kind of gets a little crazy with £200 on a tiny scope each, on none target rifles (paint ball/ practice rounds , so accuracy is never perfect). I cheaped out. Anyway now corrected, still cheap , but just suits the HK more (to me at least as all subjective )
Usual red or green dot, cross, circle choice of reticle. Initial impressions pretty good.

Be cool to see others training 4 engagement guns, I know a few have them and enjoy these fun pistols, rifles, shotguns . What do you find the best ammo etc😀
Any recommendations , what do you use as targets ?
What started me was the glock .43 I got on here, very nicely made and great fun. Bought an extra mag, the emergency one ,as it’s much quicker and convenient when I want to use it. With the co2 already in , a tap then punctures the can and away I go . Then a .68 HDR which are more like golf balls…….ok maybe not .
Mine are simply having fun with on targets. Do get used at the range now and then (not on the air rifle range).
Then followed the t4e hk416 .43 ,which is a beautiful made rifle. Field strippable with one pin to push, top and bottom receivers separate and give access to the bolt . This can be removed and apparently has a life of 3000-3500 rounds. Can be increased with maintenance (light oil every so often). I’m sure at one point they did come with a spare, not for me. Price wise about £90😱. 3000 is a long way off for me thankfully …..

Last but not least the Walther PPQ m2 in tungsten. Another emergency mag for this was bought for convenience. Got a tiny Valkyrie mini II on it for plinking fun in the dark.
Both the t4e .43 pistols are around 5j , which seem a little less than the US versions. Not that it matters and plenty powerful for targets and some. In fact quite surprising how powerful 5j and .43 is! . The hk416 is 7.5j, no need for high power with what it’s designed for. That’s close quarter training for police, military . I’ve looked into and found they are used by forces(no idea if UK do or not). As they load, lock back like the real steel, similar weights and use same accessories. Except ammo is much cheaper of course (also much safer to use). It seems typically they do use the coloured rifles and pistols, which makes more sense. As easy to distinguish between real ones, which is very important if those are being used as well, outside of training.
The .43’s……so far😀

.43 ammo so far finding the PLB the better. Seem the most consistent accuracy wise. Bonus of using the catapult catcher, most can be reused several times, as not cheap .

So rather than adding more air rifles of which I’m content, I’ve just kind of branched off for plinking at home/range fun. Just a change basically and a different angle so to speak. I do have paintballs but not tried them yet🫣

Cheers ven 👍🏻
I've got a. couple. Currently looking at moderators to quieten the initial "crack" noise as rounds leave the barrels
0.50 cal T4e HDR gen 1 revolver. It's 12j however has a carbine kit snd 200mm extended barrel.
HDX .68 16J which has a 88g adaptor kit hidden in existing stock.

.68 cal HDB (SPAS 12 ALIKE) 16J

THEY'RE GREAT FUN.
I'll get some pics up as all have optics and tweaks to them. All legal!

I make my own ammo using a glue gun, some with steel balls in the centre.
I would not use any of these indoors as they are noisey and the rounds bounce. I have a 12m range in my garden which has 3 layers of carpet with 1" separation between and 3mm rubber sheet backed by 1 inch ply backstop. I still get occasional ricochets with 4.5mm bb's and .50&.68 rounds.

I do like the 416 rep! I'd love one but banned from buying any more atm. As mentioned I'm looking at moderators for all of them. HD24 make them and I'm likely going this route. I'll need to make one for the HDB as it has a fixed muzzle brake but I have a 150x35mm madbull airsoft suppressor I'll modify to fit.
Pics will follow.

I was considering selling the 416 as it hardly gets use these days, as much as I love it. If ever decide I would make a sale advert. Still up in air but I have far too many and too many other hobbies to eat into my time at present.
