Left handed stocks/guns for right handed shooters…. Yay… or nay!!!

So….. quick question….. I have always shot right handed… because….. I’m right handed ( funny enough)

However… I actually feel pretty comfortable both ‘in-hand’ and ‘optically’/ eye relief etc shooting left handed…( only just tried and was quite surprised ) - sure I could get used to it with some practice

So…. The actual question … how many right handlers have bought a left handed gun because they just bloody loved the gun and look etc…. couldn’t find it in right handed version….. but just couldn’t pass on this thing of beauty… and did you regret it

Obviously I’m making more of a reference to the stock here….(seen a beauty)

Years ago I acquired a left handed Sportsmatch GC2 outfit, simply because I liked it and it was cheap.

The stock was useable right handed until such time I found a dedicated right handed stock.

Other way around, I’m right handed but have always shot left handed, left eye dominant, but have bought and still own many right handed guns because of either what they were, how they looked or because at the time it was only available in right handed and I intended having a left hand stock made as I did for my mk1 prosport and Rapid7

I am right handed and shoot right handed, but I like to have the cocking lever on the left side (when that feature is available).

i have tryed to get a l/h bold rifle i am r/handed but shoot l/h its like trying to get rocking horse dung

right handed but due to minor right eye defect shoot left handed.
Always bought models with Ambi stock but been tempted by several in a right handed stock but never parted with the pennies. Just got a dedicated lefty and it fits like a glove.

I'm a lefty and have a couple of right handed rifles. The HW35E is no problem whatsoever and comfortable, the K98 stock is fine (ambi) but the breach favours right handed use, the TX200 the stock is a little uncomfortable against the cheek and again the breach is right handed. However none if this bothers me, they just arn't perfect, I still enjoy them all
