Hello,
This is my first time in the "springer lounge"
Well, basically I have to admit to being a new convert and seeing the light. 😊
I bought a blue laminate HW97K in .177 about 18 months ago, tried it, quite liked it, and then put it away and forgot about it. About 2 weeks ago I decided get it out to change the god awful butt hook for an adjustable rubber recoil pad from J Ramsbottoms, (thanks to nobby for the suggestion). Using JSB 8.4s it was quite good but only sub 9ft/lbs over the chrono πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ . A bit of fettling and a couple of power washers and,11ft/lbs happy days!! ............but now it decided it didn't like the JSBs, but loved the QYS 9.56
As I stated above πŸ‘† I am now a "springer convert", I was considering a 177 Blackwolf, I don't think I need one now. πŸ‘
I'm not the greatest shot, but I'm pretty pleased with these groups 😊
Thanks if you got this far 🀣

Hey, I've quite recently returned to PCPs after being springer only. I have however always kept my 97 and no matter how well I do on my PCPs, I always return to my 97. It keeps it real. Those that think they can shoot should try one. πŸ˜€πŸ˜€πŸ˜€

Cracking shooting that @25 yards. Keep at it and you'll only get better too!

Springers ROCK. πŸ‘Œ

Nice shooting. I do like the look of those blue laminates. (y)
I've had a springer, my Vulcan for 47 years, just thought, that's how springers shoot! The 97 has been a real eye opener. I can't believe I have owned it for 18 months and only recently discovered how good it is 🀦
