Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson

Tony Bellow was shaming Jp at the pre fight weight in etc.. then JP stood on Tysons toes. One of the greatest of all time, against a man half his age. In his mind JP thinks he is one of the greatest...

Never expected it to a classic but this will do more harm to Pauls reputation than Tysons.
Looking forward to the fall out from the boxing press over the next few days.
I actually hope not. I've got a new respect for JP for the way he handled it tbh. Admittedly most of his shots were those chicken s't overstretchers you see from fighters scared to brawl. Old Tyson would have taken any one of those opportunities to open him up like a bag of crisps, and he must've known that. As RJJ said, MT just doesn't look to have the power in his legs to unleash that level of attack anymore.
JP should and would have been destroyed in the press if he'd taken advantage, but I think he dealt with that as respectfully and humanely as anyone could ask of a man. Would have been nice to see one last Tyson unleashed moment, but it wasn't to be. They went out there to earn millions and did so. Fair play to both of them. Just hope it finally puts this gimmick fight malarkey to bed though!
Night/morning folks...

Shame to see a great old fighter plodding through a fight like this😩
Just hope Tyson is OK after this fight and has made plenty of money, that can be the only reason he has been involved with this rubbish.
JP may well find this win backfires on him….karma is a great thing!

So......has the script already been written?
I don't think it'll be a 100% legit fight, even at 57ish Tyson would destroy Paul.
I'm hoping it'll be the end of celebrities trying their hand at professional sports like this, I find it an insult to guys who are trying to make it.
Yeah it’s sad because it’s basically boxing meets WWE.

I think the problem is that a lot of people where expecting too much from Tyson. I think some expected a flashback of brilliance from Tysons hayday of the late 80's & early 90's that in reality was never going to happen, you just had to watch his Roy Jones jr exhibition fight to see what level he was at and that fight was best described by one boxing pundit as "watching two middle aged men trudging through mud"

It was a sorry spectacle all round and it was never going to live up to the hype and sadly it's yet another stain on the name of boxing.

I think Netflix were the biggest loser.

Tyson has already called out jake pauls little brother the panto part2
good pay day for tyson though thats his retirement sorted
fair play but is sad!!

Fat pay check for both is what this was always about ,as good as Tyson was even later in his younger days he was washed up and a shadow of him former self . I don't like Jake paul but he sure knows how to make money .

Sounds like what was expected, but not what anybody wanted, just about the money clearly.

JP will no doubt parade around saying he beat Tyson, no mate you beat a 58 year old Tyson.

Just glad that he didn't take the P really, from reading the comments Tyson was way out of his depth 😪
