IR Mount for 243

Hi All,
Not my thing as I’m air only, but a mate has a 243 with a Hik Alpex on and he’s struggling to align the IR with scope. He informs me he has a top mounted picatinny which it’s attached to.

Any help and advice would be greatly received.

I use a rail mount that attaches to my scope, I then use an adjustable mount on that & the torch to get the beam aligned.

I use the ludicrous lumens "quick detach mount system".I use ×2 Zulus 4k scopes and swap the ir torch between them.I bought one top torch mount and 2 bottom sections and it's simple to swap the ir around and line it up (l often end up putting the ir on in near darkness).
