Umarex glock 19....
Printed off several targets and placed in front of a square of thick carpet in front of a small thin board chest (grey in photo, strong enough to sit on). 50% of the Steel bbs went through the lot and trapped behind inner material of the box. Mrs not pleased 🤣.

New Weihrauch HW45 low power setting....
Needed to upgrade the target so between the box and carpet placed a thick square of laminated wood. Most pellets went through and dented the wood, went back through the carpet and into the room (one got me in the face 😳). So added a thick foam lined cardboard box between the wood and carpet at a slight angle to the shooter (less chance of being hit). Now almost all pellets end up on the floor in front of the wood.

Thoughts ?. Need something that looks ok in our livingroom but in one piece that catches all pellets and can hang A4 paper targets in front. Considering getting another box/stool and modifying so the front is removable, some form of long life padding inside the box (whats best other than sand ?), clip on the top for the sheets...

Shooting in the house is not something I would be doing but many do it safely . I have chronoed my rifles in the loft before .

Conveyor belt hung at the top only stops my FAC HW80 and no ricochets .

If you can hang it in a box it should be OK but i has to be able to move hence being hung at the top only .

Great idea !, added to my Ebay watch. Possibly hung from the lid near the back of the box. Maybe could also hinge the front then as mostly empty space inside..... Yes in the home, too many interfering neighbors around here for outdoor.

Better off with a large cardboard box.
Sheet of 2mm steel (b&q) taped to the back
Fill with flattened cardboard or old clothes
Duck tape all sides
Stick targets on front.

You’re good for about 2000 shots before you need to rebuild. Just duck tape a new piece of cardboard to the front every now and then as needed.

Lightweight so put it away when not in use. No ricochets and near silent. Just don’t miss the box (make it as large as required)

Fill the back of a box with plumers maite, I put a few layers of carpet offcut behind it just in case but none have made it through the putty. I can shoot 5m in my lounge without risk of riccochet or pass throughs, even if you are pounding the same spots the pellets build up and are just as effective at stopping pellets as well. Mine is just a cheap plastic storage tub so the lid can be put back on when not in use. Oh and you just stick your targets to the putty and they stay put.

Mrs has let me have the grey box and has emptied it into others 😎, already had 10 or so holes in it lol 🤣. Just pop off the lid and flip the whole thing forward, black lined too. Probably go for the conveyor sheet, hinged at the top so it swings and absorbs more power. Just how to clip A4 sheets to the front now (an inch or two from the top) as cloth covered thin plywood/laminate....

Plumbers Maite ?
