Inaccessible O-rings AMP2

The vent hole is in the middle of the side of the block. It’s about 1mm.
With the HP (small) plenum, the 5-bar test put the IOP of the reg at 52bar but be aware, mine is a frankenFX that someone has tried to max the power on. I have no idea if someone has messed with the valving or transfer port. It certainly has the FAC valve cover. Matt, the previous owner has done great things to bring it back to life, so now it’s my turn to have the stress of getting it back on song again.
Rup. The transfer port on it is untouched.. I'm fairly certain.. its not threaded, so its not like it had a choke in there that has been taken out. But no idea if its a bigger port in that block and newer ones have an oem smaller port. FrankenFX 😂

That is good to know.
The rifle is back together and holding air today but still has the big velocity and reg pressure spike if left for any length of time. I think all those new seals are bedding in. I’ll have it apart again at the weekend and have a rummage in that big bag of o-rings😆 From reading the links above it has to be the inner of the two tiny o-rings on the adjuster again. I will poke my borescope in there and see if there is a burr on the housing that is causing the seals to fail.
Did you replace the main air cylinder? It is dated 2024 or is that a sell by date 🙈

the transfer port in the block is blummin' big . like 7mm
then for sub12 theyre throttled back by the barrel port

the block port is not at 6 o'clock position but its so big it doesnt matter for alignment

To remove O rings deep down, I have small terminal screw driver.
I have bent the tip over to almost 90 degrees with bit of heat, then polished it so no sharp edges.
This works quite well.

Interesting. There is nothing throttling this one. When I first started with the new plenum block, I set the reg to flush with the housing which gave me a regulated 100bar which I thought would be fairly conservative and wound the hammer spring out as far as would go. Using 10.3gr heavies the chrono read 1068fps. I ordered another spring which, as expected, was 10mm shorter and found the IOP at 52bar which gave me 710fps 11.5ftlb. I think once I get the reg creep sorted the rifle will work well and is showing signs of being very consistent and fairly economical with air.

Seals 'R' Us where I get a lot of seals from sell a useful one : HERE

Or there are sets available from AliE etc like THESE

Aliexpress sells these in packs of 5 for nearly half the price of ebay.
I just found this on AliExpress:
5 pcs/lot of O-Ring pick tool/oring pick tool

They don't help with all orings though, like Jake says you'll need a "sharp pointy thing" to unseat the oring first. This could be a pin or sharp braddel.

There are loads of picks available, bit IMO the real cheapies are crap unless you want to start filing/sanding down tips ... personally I use a professional dentist's metal set of picks from Stellmacher which have fine tips and a variety of different angled heads, just being very, very careful to prevent damage

When I’m replacing the internal O-Rings I usually just impale them on a needle and pull them out drop them straight into the bin and put I nice new lubed ones using a round ended pick.

Did the Soapy water test. Plenum air tight.
Vent hole blowing bubbles, going to replace all seals in reg and surrounding area.

So you are going to have to deal with the o ring that I was asking about.
Maybe do all the others first an see if it still leaks🤫
I got a pack of three sets to service the reg from Bagnall and Kirkwood for about a fiver.
