So after some success with tunning my new m3 I have now got problems.
1: the gun starting loading pressure which I found the bottle gauge was leaking so tightened that up and seemed to solve it. Filled the gun back up and after a couple of hours it lost 10ish of pressure again.
2: second reg keeps climbing. Was set at 145 when I tuned it then on Sunday I noticed it was reading nearly 180 so today I set it back to 145, couple of hours later it’s reading 160 so climbing again.
Anyone with experience with these guns could you reach out please. I have only had it a couple of weeks from brand new so do I try and solve these issues myself or take it back?

Since your FX Impact M3 is only a couple of weeks old, attempting to fix it yourself might void any warranty you have. It's often best to contact the retailer or manufacturer first to report the issues.FX Airguns has a good reputation for customer service. Reach out to them or the retailer where you purchased the gun. They might provide troubleshooting steps or offer to repair or replace the gun under warranty.

Take it back and get it swapped under warranty if it's not right. Never had a single issue with numerous FX guns.

Sounds like you have removed the delrin plug out of second reg to adjust it so surely you have blown the warranty anyway?

(Probably best to buy Huma replacement regs tbh….)

I haven’t removed anything, the reg can be adjusted externally. The gun is designed to be able to be tuned/ adjusted.

Hi is this 12ft LB or fac have you removed the bottle and adjusted the first Reg put more information of how you've fine tuned it. I reckon you've Blowed a Oring.

I am pretty sure you must not turn the reg down with pressure in the gun without degassing it, ie removing the bottle you will damage the reg if you do. You can adjust it up but not down when pressurized. Send it back straight away.

Why bugger around with it in the first place if it’s only a couple of weeks old ?

Mike
You mean why tune a gun that’s been designed to be tuned? It certainly doesn’t seem like I’m the first to have this problem. Go and give absolutely no useful input on somebody’s thread 👍

It’s fac, the first reg is set to 180 bar second reg at 145 but I’m getting req creep on the second req. I have spoken with somebody now that’s sorted me out

Maybe give us all the facts first 👍. Some people and guns shouldn’t mix

Mike

Oh dear you seem upset. And please think about your words. People spend their lives being squeaky clean to be fortunate enough to own shotguns and firearms and some stranger comes along suggesting they shouldn’t have them? Don’t be a fool

I think , this thread says more about your character than mine darling ! 😁👍

Mike
Not to worry I will try my best to not attract such a negative thread in the future. All I asked for was some suggestions to a situation. Please respect that and try to be helpful. I’m sure that’s what these places are for 🤷‍♂️
