Immersive optics ir not working

Hi.
The on/off button on the above doesn't work.
It makes the clicking sound but just says on or off. I have to loosen the button a couple of turns and the it turns off.
Any idea of a quick fix please.
Contacted the makers but never received a reply 😕 .
