Myself and a mate went out Saturday for a bit of plinking we had been there about 2 hours when he asked how do you hit stuff so easily I really didn't know what he meant so I said have a few shots with my gun see how you get on he couldn't believe how close up the targets were I was shooting at 12 mag so I looked through his scope a 3-9x50 and he only had it set to 3 I said turn that round to 9 and will see if that's any better well you think I had invented fire he was over the moon he could actually see the targets it turns out he's had the scope which he bought with the gun since 2016 and never adjusted it.

I think there is at least a few weeks worth of "P" taking for that error on his part. :ROFLMAO:

Worlds full of em. Worst I saw was a bloke with a brand new TX200SR and he'd mounted the scope way too far back. Blacked his own eye with the first shot. I watched him do it and the crunch was louder than the rifle.

I've seen many loading break barrels with one hand on the grip and the other on the moderator. Sure, many do that but I've avoided both especially after owning a few rammers.

In one case, i watched one break the barrel, reloaded and continued to hold the moderator with his thumb covering the muzzle during the entire lockup as those stopping a hose leak. I did raise a point politely but he took offense to all his years of experience. I sat back and watched...

They walk amongst us, its a wonder he remembers to breath 😆 if it weren't for health and safety in the workplace some people just wouldn't make it home.

About ten years ago at work there was this guy called keith who tipped a ride on lawn mower over into a ditch, the roll bar saved him. They sent me with the tractor to pull the mower out of the ditch and it took some getting out TBH. Anyway, at home time I was sat on a wall with him and I just casually but jokingly said to him 'technically, you should be dead by now' and he walked off. Next day he put a grievance in against me with management for bullying.

At first i thought you were gonna say he fell off the wall 😂😂. You should've put a quart bottle of whisky in his mowers toolbox, he'dve soon withdrawn his grievance 🤔

You mean the same 1500kg mower he smashed to f*ck, caved in the steering column and bashed all the sides in as it rolled over? Old keithy baby never went on it again. The met may be stupid but not that stupid.

Was at the range last week chatting as you do when this character wondered in. Looked as dodgy as anything .scruffy.. dirty jeans mucky hi viz.. unkempt hair.. iffy accent...Went up to the counter & the RO greeted him & asked how he could help..Convo' as follows
RO Hiya mate.. how can I help you?
Cust' I want some Pellets
RO OK. What are you shooting?
Cust' Air rifle....
RO OK mate.. what make? What calibre
Cust' Dunno.. does it make a difference?
RO Well ..yes it does really.. can't put a 22 into a 177
Cust ' Yeah I know that
RO OK ( getting a bit exasperated at this dodgy half wit) Where are you shooting? And what?
Cust' down the farm. Things.....

The RO Showed matey a choice of pellets in 177 & 22 .matey went for what he thought was right & bought a couple of tins . He paid for them & left. At which point everyone present just sighed a collective sigh of WTAF ???!! Some shocked laughing broke out but it was certainly an eye opener & mateys true intentions were definately called into question. Ie was he checking the place out? People like that shouldn't be left alone with crayons, let alone an airweapon!

Father Ted… enough said.

Beat me to it....
