It's that time of year that I give the stocks an oiling and the metalwork a wipe over. I started tonight oiling two stocks - one the infamous 'Tiger' - a standard tiger-stripe walnut stock from AA and originally from my S410K. The other is one of my custom made Tyroleans. The Tiger is done with CCL oil and that's all its ever had over near 20 years with me. The Tryo has TS-95 on it. All hand-rubbed in. Quite a theraputic experience 'rubbing my wood'.

Nonetheless, here they are drying as we speak. I'm chuffed with both to be honest. The other two Tyroleans will be done next week. They are tricky to photograph when freshly oiled - pics only done on the phone.
First up, "The Tiger". I love this stock and the full rifle. Stunning combination.
Next up, one of the Tyroleans. She's a looker for sure.....

It's positively holographic.
A quiet night in, oiling me wood.......those that know, know.....
