I bought a fwb300s

Its a bit tired. 150m/s. A bit rusty. A bit worn. Seems to be an old club rifle. No rear diopter. Stock needs refinishing. All metal needs refinishing. Cocking handle had no bluing left. So i know this one has shot some pellets in its life. And now it will get a new life!

So its a project. At least ots semi working as we speak.

No its a 300s. Its says on the reciever. But its at work right now so i can't take any pics of it. But when i unpacked it i had a good look at it and i was 100% sure its a 300s but now when you say its a 300. Now i'm only 90% sure

Neglected. But these seems to be indestructable. I have fwb 65s from the 70ies. And they are still going strong. So this is very good system to build and airgun around.

You know here in sweden i think all club guns were either walther lvg olympia/diana 75/lwb 300 or 300s. There was nothing else in clubs.

I remember shooting air rifle in a club like 30 years ago. And now i know this was a diana 75.

But unfortunately these days people know the value of these guns. So no really good deals on the club guns. Because these were the real premium spring guns of the era.

I made a good deal on the 2 lvgs i bought. 150€ for both. But its not very common.

The stock looks like the Sporter type stock used on the FWB150 /300
You may have a 300s in a 300 stock
The 300S stocks were a lot blockier in design

The 300 ran a single spring, where the 300s used twin counterwound springs

I'm no expert but it does not look like my 300s. so agree that it may be in a 300 stock, although I have not seen a 300. My 300s has a trigger guard that is squared off on the back side. The stock does look a lot like those on my 150's although I do not know if a 300s will fit a 150 stock.
That one does look a bit rough but with some TLC can be brought back to look fairly nice. The were made to shoot many thousands of rounds without any maintance. I have had my 300s for a little over 40 years and never done anything to it. You can probably find an original diopter sight on ebay, or a vintage Anschutz diopter which would be just as good. At any rate good luck with your project.

I ordered all parts for rhis one. Have not opened it up yet. But since its going slow i just ordered everything

I will probably get a new modern diopter for this one. I will only have 1 real competition rifle. This might be it. I will so what i can shoot best. Could be walther lvg, but most likely not. Could be fwb 600. Very likely. Could be this o e. Who knows.

I mean if this one turns out good then i have no problem competing with it. Its never about the gun anyway. Its the indian
