HW99 1 piece scope mount

Hi,

As the title suggests i’m after a decent set of one piece scope mounts to compliment my New HW 99. It currently has a hawk vantage 3 x 9 x 40 scope mounted to it but I also have the option to mount a Nikko Stirling Mount master 3 x 9 x 50 what do people suggest to be the best one piece amount?

Some will say you don't need a one piece mount but if you want to fit one then go for it and let them spec their own rifles .

With a one piece mount you have to make sure the mount fits the scope . If it is longer than 122mm it wont fit .

This Sportsmatch one should fit will fit with 2mm spare on the length.

Don't " overmatch" the 99, with a 50mm scope, is my suggestion.

To add to my above; unless you have need to shoot solely in the last few minutes of daylight, a 50mm buys you nothing , ( certainly not a Nikko) except excess weight...bigger ain't better, brother.
