To be fair you have a good point thereNot at £625 ... just buy a standard and send to Nobby
Took the words right out of my mouthWay Too little, way too late...still a horrid shape....and still need fingers like nosferatu to reach the trigger properly![]()
I've said it on another thread somewhere, at this point hw are just wasting resources (wood, power, man hours) and may as well offer an action only option for people who can actually see how poor there stocks really are, at a lower price point of courseTook the words right out of my mouth
Since the 90's, AA and latterly Webley, were fitting their springers with stocks, that were vastly superior in ergonomics, to anything HW have ever produced.
And HW still don't learn
HW must be the single biggest cause, of Custom Stock, doing as well as they are, yet they still keep churning rifles out with cricket bat ergonomics
They probably don't have any real incentive to fix it. The recent thread on here shows why. The majority of people recommend weihrauch above anything else, despite poor stocks and having to finish the action yourself.Took the words right out of my mouth

So why then is the 95 one of, if not the best selling Weihrauch in the UK? I find mind a very comfortable to shoot and is currently my favourite springer.Way Too little, way too late...still a horrid shape....and still need fingers like nosferatu to reach the trigger properly![]()
They could have just done a lot better with the stock MikeSo why then is the 95 one of, if not the best selling Weihrauch in the UK? I find mind a very comfortable to shoot and is currently my favourite springer.
Not one clue? Other than they are in a 'price point' goldie locks position in the market??So why then is the 95 one of, if not the best selling Weihrauchs in the UK? I find mind a very comfortable to shoot and is currently my favourite springer.

Yes l do have to agree with you that comb is low and could be higher. I’ve not long bought a Cometa Fusion and gotta say the stock on that is really nice. Not one clue? Other than they are in a 'price point' goldie locks position in the market??
I had a early 95k (410mm barrel with muzzle weight) 20+ years ago I loved it,it shot very well, the stock on that was much much nicer than current ones....but the comb was still a bit low for scope use,and the reach to trigger was also again quite long
The 97 stock isn’t bad, nice high comb, shame that doesn’t fit the break barrels. Or does it?They could have just done a lot better with the stock Mike
I'm pretty sure their stock design is based on their home market rifle needs, which must be mainly for use with open sights.
Yes we get moderated rifles here, but that's at the request of the importer rather than HW
And whichever way you look at it, their stock designer must have some pretty huge digits
