HW35E still in the conversation ?

Had my HW35 out for an hour last night on the rats , got 4 , this .177s it loves the H&N FTTs, and its stopping them in their tracks at 25 yards. Its so accurate and i like the Doctor Optic 4x40 its not swarovski or even near them, but its prety good i have used it on a few rifles and wish i had a few of them. Ideal for air gun ranges and shooting into shadow last night/ dusk it was clear as a bell definition and good depth of field help in such scenarios.
4x scopes have it done in such situations and i just feel the doctor on that HW35 its in keeping with the classic vibe of the outfit i am loving it.

Hi @1260engineer - two nice rifles there.
How do you aim the one on the left? ;)
Is the stock on the left rifle a special edition?
Regards.
Point and shoot mate ๐Ÿ˜ work great when stood in a barn . I can hit the door every time ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜‚

The stock.. no idea mate . they were there when i got it but very knocked about so i stuck it in the mill and sharpened um up a touch .

The thing i love about the 35 . is it always seems to have been there . over the years its been the base for many projects and been many of our first rifles back in the day .
built like a tank and still around today .

Been back on the air rifle scene just under a year bought an HW100 laminate stock and a very fine rifle if is if a little well dare i say too capable and flattering for an old boot like me anyway got thinking about springers
And well there is a lot of choice especially from Weihrauch but nobody seems to talk about the venerable HW35 why is that ? the newer models just better ?
Last springer i had was a webley vulcan and very good it was for the price but the HW35 was out of reach for me then as was the feinwerkbau equivalent. But now i see that the HW35E is still on sale and its actually cheaper than some of thd newer kit . Thoughts please
Same, the HW35 was out of reach price wise for me too, but Webs were pretty good.

It was always BSA & Weblys here with the odd Diana thrown in, i broke my neck and had to have my Feinwerkbau 127 sport in the late 70s and a few Hws were showing up mostly old 50s and the odd 35. BSAs kind of still had it if i am honest probably early 1980s until significant HW presence was established .
