Hiya guys, firstly I love the 100 and 110, very easy to work on, very accurate, steady power delivery when set up and very accurate, ehats not to like about them? I have fixed a real lot of them and many different problems too.
I do however have one here thats foxed me.
It is losing air slowly like down from 200 bar to 180 over 12 hours.
I have located a really steady bubble from the tell tale under the pressure gauge glass, so I dismantled the front end of the cylinder unscrewed the gauge to pop the glass then removed it and the O ring although there were a few thready bits to one side it looked OK.
I did clean everything and then changed the O ring, lubricated lightly with molykote then reassembled and tested, it was still bubbling and loss over time was still the same.
I have now tried 5 times and each time the same has happened,I just sat looking at the setup and am wondering if maybe a solder joint on the working parts of the gauge may have failed as this would also show as a bubble from the tell tale wouldnt it?
Your opinions would be very much valued please
