Hi all
Looking for advice from you experts.
I've a small leak coming from the little hole in receiver on hw100 any ideas what causes it ?
Many thanks for any help.

Is that something a mere mortal like me could do or a specialist job ?
Thanks for replies ..

Its reasonably easy, if a bit fiddely. I personally would replace all the o-rings, rather than just the regulator whilst it's apart.
There's plenty of utube videos to watch.
I also believe there are few experts on the forum that might do it for you.👍

Also, I noted in your photo, the Regulator pressure port grub screw, looks be corroded / rusty. Hopefully, it's in better condition internally.

The rifle is very good condition externally hopefully that's a little surface rust 🤔
Thanks.

I'm pretty sure I had this last year and after uncrewing the air tank the o ring in the block had perished (I think I'd probably screwed the air tank up too tight and damaged it previously). I was going to try and change it myself but as I'm a complete numpty I took it to HW100 tuning and they sorted it no problem. As previously pointed out though, there are people on here that will doubtless do the same job.

Usually caused by failing of the regulator piston seal or the piston sleeve bush seal.

#2668 regulator piston seal needs a 7 x 1.5 NBR 70 o-ring.
#2674A piston sleeve bush seal 11 x 1.5 NBR 70 o-ring

When these fail its prolly time for a full service/re-seal.

I'll order a full seal kit and have ago 😟!
If I struggle someone maybe getting a box of bits .lol....

There are a few members on here who advertise the fact that they service these. I had my HW100 serviced and tuned by @the logun-ator as mine had a very annoying air leak. He did a fantastic job and I highly recommend him.

I've nothing to lose apart from cost of a seal kit , I'm quite a tinkerer and repaired many of my other rifles so I'll give it a try , if it leaks after reassembly then yep I'll contact the above suggested gurus !
Many thanks again for all the advice and help .
Will post an update on how many busted finger nails and grazed knuckles it's caused🤣🤣

Well, my only advice is. When you pull the regulator piston out ( inner and outer) make sure you don't pull half the belleville washer stack with it.
Belleville washes tend to dissappear without trace.... without due care. 🤣😂
Also.... Good luck with replacing the breech seal.

Good luck 👍

Mind, since you need to change regulator o-rings, you need a regulator pressure test gauge.... to test your pressure before so you can reset it afterwards. Can't wing that :)
