Evening I have an issue with noise complaints on a piece of ground I need to keep the winged vermin down due to crop damage or more like destruction.
I have been looking at the hushpowered shot guns which all seem to be pump action, then I see they do an over barrel mod for single barrel shotguns.
I have an old beretta 301 semi auto and was wondering if anyone had fitted a mod and how effective it was

You can get screw in mods, that fit into the choke,if yours is multichoke?
No personal experience with that method,but i have owned 2 hushpowers
20b and 410,if i needed another one,i would.go down the screw in type

I have the 12 gauge screw in choke moderator been using it for a couple of years now. With subsonic shells it is very quiet I can hear the kerching of the bolt as it loads the next shell and with even the heaviest shells it takes a lot of the bang and echo out of the shot. I use 42gram number 3’s without ear defenders
