How to shoot a rifle.

UPDATE: technique has changed since my day due to the A2/3 (including short tanky version) and added foregrip. With onset of A403A1 aka KS-1...
BUT PRINCIPLES STILL THE SAME 🇬🇧

Diagram seems to show the rifle held centrally to the body , not held against a shoulder......

Written by a Cyclops? Or A.I? Or just an idiot?

Oddly enough, the photos show real people in conventional shooting positions with the rifle butt held into a shoulder.

My efforts were usually from a position more like this

I guess me holding the butt in the centre of my forehead means ive been doing it wrong all this time.
