Hello,

I’m after removing the end caps from a CF moderator.

I don’t think they are threaded (can’t seem to shift them).

If they are glued what is the best way to remove them? Heat gun (maybe too hot for CF?) or hair dryer? Any other ideas.

Thanks

Rich

Probably glued with epoxy.
Heat would be your friend.
I would get something else, that's a nice moderator.

it could be a case that you get it apart and not back together or screw it up getting it apart
I'm with Neil54 on this one
now a Weihrauch will come apart and i know it is more money but i good unit damaged vs buy something else, easy call for me

Could try wearing washing up gloves for extra grip and heating l it up with a hair dryer then putting it in the freezer the contract the metal.

Personally I’d leave it alone it looks very well made where did you get it from? Is it threaded for airsoft guns only?

It’s a core airsoft Italy mod, DSL1. It is for 14ccw but I have been using it on air pistol, with a 1/2unf adapter.
