Ridiculous isn't it.
We can have a 175lb crossbow rifle shipped to our door yet we can't have a 2ftlb replica pellet pistol (virtually toy like) shipped to our door.
Airguns are Firearms , Crossbow's are not( yet) unless it's an air bow as seen in a recent court case.
Only the Home Office can answer why they are exempt from the firearms laws.

Is it still illegal not to practice every day (excluding Sunday)?
I’m not sure so try to have a practice and a play about most days just in case. And with my longbow.

Think it's the other way round, mate. There is supposed to be still a law unrepealed that says every English man should practice archery on a Sunday. I've read Henry VIII kept to the rule religiously. Though aimed at Englishmen it may not necessarily apply to the inhabitants of Yorkshire.
