Heads up Regarding Victorinox.

Just out of interest, where would I send a 40+ years old Wenger to be refurbished, and is it worth the hassle?

Victorinox UK LTD as Victorinox owns them .

They will only be able to replace the parts they can still make or use refurbished ones if they have them .

You can ask to keep bits they way they are for sentimental reasons and you often get the bits they have replaced back also but some say you have to ask for them to send the replaced buts back and some say they were sent back without them being asked to send them back.


My one got to the the Uniserve depot ( Victorinox UK LTD ) today so it will be on its way to Switzerland soon.

Note that he sent his back to Burton McCall but they are no longer who you send it to.

It's back.
Only my blade ,corkscrew and awl remain from my old one .

I put a note in to ask them not to sharpen the blade but they have done so by accident . Not a big deal.
