a friend asked me to try zeroing a hatsan striker .22 he is a shooting man but with shotgun and had no joy zeroing it.....I fitted a cheap scope and set a target at 30 yards ....using gamo pellets ....because I have a load ....I got in the end a terrible group of about 3" switched to rws hobby and although the group was high reduced to 1.5 " ....I has a very harsh firing cycle has anyone else had experience with this rifle if so did you achieve good groups and with what pellet

Rather a long time ago I serviced a neighbours .22" Striker. It was quite harsh, probably due to piston weight and transfer port, but it was very accurate with JBS Exact Diabolo's in 15.8gn (5.52mm from memory)

is reasonable its a great rat killer, i use air arms field pellets try them in ,22cal
atb brian

I had a striker in .25, after a little bit of work it was fine, used marksman in mine & they were accurate, only used it with open sights, got it to keep at work, then lost my "office" due to contractors, who couldn't keep their hands off anything, so sold it, saw a rat in a neighbours garden at the weekend, so might get another.....

thanks for the comments will buy some pellets ....just tried Bisley magnums terribly no group at all

I have one in .25 flavour. Yes the shot cycle is a bit harsh with a big kick, but accuracy is reasonable - H&N Baracuda.
Millbro "Rhino" not so good

Not used it a great deal since buying last year so it's not really "run in" yet. I'm a PCP man at heart. :)

just tried crosman premiers and not bad the best so far and exceptable accuracy

Just bought a Hatsan Striker in .177, tried many pellet makes in it and couldn't get it to group except with JSB Exact 8.44 gns and funny enough also likes Marksman.

Hatsan doesn't do a very good job on their barrel crowns and buries them under their glued on muzzle breaks so you can't see the lousy job.
Pain to try looking at let alone get to but something to try and check. Mine is obviously FAC being in the States but does well with both FTT's and JSB 15.89's.
