Whilst cutting around the deserted post apocalypse theme park of Swindon town centre I had a recon mission to get some old photos scanned and printed. As in the past I planned to use great Western cameras if the building was still there.
Keeping close to cover I managed to get in the shop without any incidents .
What a treat a big friendly shop full of nice things and friendly staff . I've been using them on and off since the days of my Olympus OM10 .
A nice looking bipod attracted me like a tramp on chips. Perfect height very sturdy trigger ball system and desert camo . Looked expensive. A member of staff who was dealing efficiently with my prints
Told me the price when I asked £220 . About half what I expected. So I purchased it . Lots of other nice things in the big open area of the shop an astonishingly cheap astonishingly huge telescope.
Don't look unless you have an Observatory!!
Well I'm impressed. Obligatory pulled shot out of ten at 38 yards . It will be out in the dark with the hmr tomorrow 🐰☠️. I'm impressed lovely bricks and mortar shop friendly staff highly recommend binos cameras telescopes lots of nice nice things..
Pistol grip works perfectly. Shoulder sling was extra but a bargain. Very solid. Half the weight of a bog .
I got had almost forgotten what going in a nice big proper shop was like it's nice . Worth a visit.

Exactly what you want, good service, people that know what they’re talking about and plenty of choice that you can see and touch, bring back the high street 🤩

I’ve just purchased the same tripod not had time yet to use it but impressed with the quality. Mine was from optics warehouse.
