Bought a air rifle off Gun trader last week, advertised as as new only used a couple of times, only fired about 20 pellets finding it hard to cock so bought a co2.
Gun arrived on time very well packed, opened the box to find a gun that could have been sold as new, take a look at the stock and trigger screws and tried to open One of the stock screws solid never been opened, so far so good.
Next put it through the chronograph 1048 feet per per second with 7.4 grain pellets ( Energy is: 18.05 ft/lbs )
Time to strip I think.

No wonder it was hard to cock.

I got given one of those Bear Gryls break barrels that had a broken spring. Replaced it and it was near 20ftlb. Had to snip it down a half curl at a time till it was down to 10 and shot nicely.
