What are your favourite shops to just walk in and see a great range of guns? Well stocked, new, used, of all varieties?
I was due to take a trip to Blackpool Air Guns on Monday for a rare day out with my brother. They've only gone and closed up for a bloody holiday this week!
Theres nothing near me that has the kind of stock they offer, just overpriced Gamo springers, replica BBs etc, so a little road trip will always be required.
Where have you been that you wish was, or if youre lucky, is, on your doorstep?

Good question @Frank Rizzo there isn’t that much choice close to me but if I go further afield there’s a better selection.

If you’re struggling it might be worth you going to one of the Gamefairs or Shooting Shows, usually a good selection of manufacturers and dealers at those?

Ironically, the closest air gun shop to me has possibly the least friendly and unwelcoming owner I’ve ever met…..and all I ever do is give him money!! 😳

Pickering Guns is a nice place to visit, very welcoming staff, very friendly spaniels too.

Not the largest shop but does have a good range of guns in second hand. Pickering is a good place for a day out esp if you go on the steam train up to Whitby. You can park near the castle for free avoiding the car parks.

Isn't there a section for gun stores? If not could mods please add our comments stating the shop names and locations? Thank you

Used to love one in Barnsley 'Guns international ' you could walk in and shoulder every gun without being bothered or having to ask.
Sad day when that closed.

Solware near me, they managed to keep honest and open I have always had excellent service and advice.

The whole team seem good dont know their names i think they are big into websales which makes the above even more rare now days..

Crawley is a shop I hate with a passion. Every tiem I go there, I find something new I want and usually end up buying it!
Solware I've been to a few times, and its a tiny little place but good.
Countryway in East Malling are very nice, plus if you're into bikes some nice eye candy, as well a sclothing , shotguns and a few other bits.
Eton is probably my favourite- not a huger selection, but the spares you can get are incredible. the manager has rarely let me doewn if I need anything, no mastter how obscure- the number of times I've been in and asked if he knows where I can something, seen the little frown and "hang on a mo.." before a quick delve and its in my hands :) :)

The Broadway Gunroom always has an eclectic range of new an old air rifles.

If you are anywhere near that way definitely worth a looksee.

Currently has 112 in stock.....everything from FX DRS to mark 1 Meteors. Lots of collectibles too....Black Fox anyone with.22 and .20 barrels?

And no....nowt to do with them, just enjoy a browse at interesting stuff.
