Just had to try the Bisley pest control .22's I just bought in my Gamo GX 40
don't be put off by the name Gamo ,well its a BSA wearing another suit lol if you like.
Anyway marking a small black dot on a piece of card, then putting it out to about 40 foot
I shot 5 at it only to see 1 hit and the others went wherever. On inspecting the target I realised all had gone through the same slightly egg shaped hole.
I repeated this with a fresh target, used my bi pod, rock steady and again they went through a slightly ragged one hole.
These rifles are extremely accurate, I'd recommend anyone give them a try.
Iv'e had more guns than I can honestly remember however this one is the most accurate .
Just had to get this off my chest lol thanks for reading.

There have been a number of threads on these.
Seriously underrated guns.

I have a Coyote stocked GX-250 too, I was thinking of working on that stock as it does not fit my hands well, but I do like a bit of wood on a gun. The synthetics stocks could be made really useful too with some cavities for NV batteries and pic rails.

A platform that could be expanded as the basic gun is surprisingly capable.
My .177 is also not too pellet fussy.

Nice rifles. Mine's .177. some take the P, but become very quiet once they start seeing holes in the target. Absolutely love mine n it6not going anywhere.
@OldStock you can knock the pistol grip base out n use that for something's, n the butt is also hollow.

I have a GX-250 as my first PCP. I'm very pleased with it.

I have the gx40 in .177, great fun, very accurate.

Sadly not being used as much as it use to

They are a BSA Buccaneer made in Birmingham and badged as a Gamo. Many of the parts are interchangable with the Ultra SE especially the plenum, fill valve, mag etc. They have the BSA cold forged barrel too. But....and this is a big but, the trigger block is shared with all the other gamo's including break barrel springers and other PCP's and is a pile of junk compared the the Ultra SE and CLX trigger.
The trigger mod makes it lots more usable but the blade is plastic and plastic means spongy in hot weather and brittle in ice cold conditions. That's the major set back. My wife's is as accurate as anything and they are a bargain for the price.

A .177 coyote was my first PCP
Excellent rifles for the money. Will compete with rifles twice their price.

I've set up two gamo phox rifles which are the same for other people new to pcp's, incredibly accurate for the price and once the trigger adjustment screw is replaced for a slightly longer one for 99p they're great,
