Gamo compact preferred pellet and size gamo pistol cup too tight?

Yes I know that some barrels prefer one sort to another .I was however given a small tin (250 ) with my pistol and they do seem very tight to put in compared to my other r10 match .whenisay tight ,nearly seem to be forcing them in .What do others use and think. Cups being 7.56 and r10 7.5.

Sorry bit new to this pistol lark ,trying to take it more serious for target shooting

I’ve tried mine with various pellets and it shoots Econ 2’s as accurately as any other. I’ve found no benefit from buying more expensive pellets for 10m distance.

I seem to recall RWS Gecos were quite good through mine.

I have good results with other guns with Baracuda 8s but they are a tight fit in my Compact. So I shoot Econ II which are just as accurate and half the price.

The Gamo pellets that come with the new gun set are a little tight indeed.
When they run out, I think you'll find Econ II are a cheap and fairly accurate substitute.

Mostly used Meisterkugeln Pistol when I had mine, but Hobby would be good, and cheaper.

Mine seems to like RWS Hobby's
Tried RWS R10 match pistol as well and they were excellent.

I use QYS Training Grade pellets in mine. They fit well and perform well also.

H &N Econ II work very well in mine. A clean, good quality pellet for less than £7.00 a tin.
