Gaming - PS5 upgrade

Been thinking about it for the past year or so, but now that it looks like GTA6 will (finally) be released later this year, I have bitten the bullet and just bought a new PS5 Pro, (which will replace my PS4) not picked it up yet, hopefully later today.
I went with the pro version for the larger capacity, etc.
My main games are GTAV, Gran Turismo, RDR2 and occasionally a bit of COD/BlackOps or Minecraft and a few retro arcade style games.
Anyone on here already have a PS5/Pro and if so any tips for me?

PS: any tips on best place to sell a PS4? had a quick look at trade ins but do not seem to get much, so I'm guessing selling private would be the way to go...

The only tip I can suggest is keeping it dust free the best you can. Like the ps4 they are pretty sturdy things! Had my ps4 for a solid 10 years before it broke (my own silly doing). The little tip i find the most useful surprisingly is holding down the microphone button on the controller will mute your whole telly sound output so you dont need to scramble for the remote each time.

I also thought to go ps5 instead of another ps4 at the time purely down to GTA6. Everything runs a lot faster than the ps4, the processor is much better and the extra storage saves having to only have 2 games downloaded at a time which was always a pain.

Graphics are also much better depending on the game which is a nice improvement aswell.

Don't regret the choice at all honestly. Best place to sell I'd say is gumtree/marketplace.

If your playing grand tourismo and your semi serious about it, i.e a wheel and pedal set, then the best upgrade you can buy is the psvr2. It's an absolute game changer.

Once you gave played it in vr you will never go back to a flat screen.

Also aces of thunder in vr is impressive. The best 300 quid I've ever spent.

Thete are quite a few vr games to try but I tend to stick to the sins.

PS5 owner. I find the controllers much better than the PS4 ones (and all previous gens), which were a bit too small.

Been waiting for GTA6 for ages now. Also hoping for a swift release of Forza Horizon 6

My pick up and shoot game is Apex Legends. It's free, <20 minute games and generally find myself fairly matched

I'm pretty sure I sold both my Xbox series X and my PS4 Pro on here. I think there are more of us gamers than you'd think on the AGF If not, I'd be doing face to face via Marketplace.

PSVR is a brilliant addition. I only have the original v1, but things like Wipeout, Ace Combat and even Astro Bot are just brilliant with VR.

PS5 promos a beast, so enjoy!

P.s if you like Tomb Raider and Uncharted type games, definitely give Indiana Jones and the great circle a try

I have sold my PS4 now, on here, Lol....
I was quite seriously into sim racing, I used to race in a UK league, and had a full sim racing set-up, seat and frame (Cobra seat) and wheel and pedals (first BRD - Ball Racing Developments - F1 Sim wheel) and then later one of the Logitech wheel and pedal setups, think it was the G25, also had the clutch and gear lever. But then I fell down the stairs and injured my back (Coccyx) and after that could not sit in the racing seat for more than 20 mins, so it sort of ruined the racing for me. Ended up selling the whole setup, this was few years back.
Now I juts dabble with Gran Turismo but stick to to the PS controllers, no more wheel and pedals for me (sadly)....
Still love my gaming though..... Cheers
