Hi All,

I just received my solid barrel for my FX Micro yesterday, from Hmangphilly.

He machines them from HFT 500 barrels, and his work is excellent.

Went in no problem at all. I stripped it down and blued the white bits, cleaned and reassembled.

Took it to the range (Outdoors but very calm and hot) and once leaded in and zeroed, it functioned and shot great.

25m - 7mm 5 shot groups

45m - 10mm 5 shot groups

And I think that was limited by my ability, plus it's only had about 150 shots through it.

It is consistent now, which the FX liner barrels aren't in sub 12. They're accurate enough but throw a flyer every 10 rounds or so, in my experience.

I think it was worth the price - £295, delivered - and his customer service is excellent as well. I paid and it went out the same day.

It has turned a great gun into a superb bit of kit, and I'm very happy with it.

Keep practising and get the groups down a bit more! 👍

That sound goos, should tighten up once it leads in, my FX Micro currently does 5mm groups at 30 with the crappy FX liner system still in it… mind you it will probably explode or something as it seems far too reliable at the moment 😆

It won't explode Zogg if you keep it cool in your storage river. Dancing banana :ROFLMAO:

A bargain at that price , the HFT500 barrel is £160 plus RFD transfer if you don't live near a seller , the only supplier of the old style brass inlet is Huma at £50 plus whatever they can think of for shipping , taxes etc , also you can't buy an FX barrel kit for even close to £295 , top man @Hmangphilly !
