im trying to help a mate out with his fx impact. it started too leak ,and he took it back to sportsman guns in exeter. they said they had fixed it for him. go it home too shoot and it still leaked in the same place , i seem to remember that they dont have a very good reputation for fixing fx stuff even though they are the agents. ok.. please is there anyone on the forum that he could send it too and know that its been fixed properly .. thanks for looking.

I had exactly the same experience - back and forth to SGC several times until they admitted they couldn’t FiX it. I was unable to find anyone who wanted to touch mine. If there’s any possibility of a refund under warranty, I’d try for that.

As the previous post , thats all the info i have at the moment., hes in north devon and im in the midlands and he is not really into repairing air rifles. sorry.

I had a serious leak with an FX two years ago and returned my rifle to SGC as the rifle was literally just out of warranty. I found SGC very difficult to deal with so I contacted FX in Sweden.
My email was promptly answered by Johan Axelsson who is, I believe, the owner's son. He took complete ownership of the problem and made sure that my rifle was repaired & returned to me FOC.
If you're not happy with the service provided by Sportsman Gun Centre I'd strongly recommend contacting FX and making them aware of the problem.

It sounds like the valve or the valve stem. It will take some dismanteling. Have a look on Youtube. It is something I would do to my own gun, but wouldn't want to strip someone elses down that far. FX like to use a lot of locktite which is a pain.
