FX Dreamline Tactical Seals

Hi folks,

Can someone please tell me the size of the dowty seal (bonded washer) that goes between the cylinder/bottle and the reg?

When I'm changing cylinders, it's leaking but self seals when the pressure drops to around 150bar. If I fill it when it's leaking, it self seals again and doesn't leak again until after I've gone to remove it and put it back on again. I took the dowty seal out and it's torn around the inside. Unfortunately it's slightly smaller than a 1/4bsp one so I don't have any spares!

It's a 12mm dowty washer but the genuine FX part is slightly smaller on the outside diameter than most generic dowty washers which either don't fit in the cylinder recess at all or get stuck in it , genuine is expensive but does the job properly

Yeah, I've noticed the size discrepancy... I don't mind paying a bit extra for the right one if it's going to work properly and last a while.

As it stands, I can still use the rifle and only use the one cylinder but it'd be better to be able to use them both.

The next question is where do I buy the genuine article from? Not Sweden I hope!

Ring Sportsman Gun Centre at Exeter 01392 354854, option 1 from the menu. Trouble is postage will be £8.

Is it this one you want (part #2, 11507)?


If it is, I think I might have one or two (not sure why I would have them since it's not a sealing part for a bottle and all mine are bottle but I know I got a bag of dowtys I bought for something on the Crown). I'll go and have look.

I've had a look and all my 12mm dowtys are 19mm OD, there is an ebay seller listing them as 18mm OD. What's the OD of yours?

Bottles don't seal against the dowty. They seal on an nbr 90 (part #1) o ring in the neck.

You guys are amazing! Thanks for the help. I've just measured the one from mine and it's got a 19mm OD and the middle should be 11mm (mine's a bit buggered).
