7 years Ive been watching duckings in my garden dissapear one by one every summer, finally got one of the culprets, used dead crayfish as bait, man do they stink!

I don't think it's a requirement, but it does help with monitoring

Ferocious little killer, that causes havoc with nesting birds and fish
Brought here to farm for their fur, but now widespread through accidental and non accidental releases

Just the way they are unfortunately. Get one in your chicken run and they will kill everything even though they can only carry one away. Plus side is they are very inquisitive so if you can "squeak" you can call them in..

Vicious teeth on that one @Engraver. The ducklings wouldn't have had much chance.
Based on the photo they'd be better named 'Mank', perhaps.

They kill more than they can possibly eat though. So basically kill for the thrill of it. Never seen one but I don't like them.

I shot one years ago and put it in the freezer for future taxidermy practice. Over the years I defrosted it several times, thinking it was a rabbit I'd like to eat. Then one say I took the time to skin and cure it, filled the pelt with beans and my kids had a new toy. Veggie Mrs didn't like that much. but hey ho.
