Been concidering a compressor to fill my rifles and perhaps a small day bottle.
Sold a few bits now so have the cash BUT still bewildered by choice.
Think i have narrowed it down now to a CX3,seems to be just above the intro models .
I have only just seen its got a seperate power supply for mains AND read these can be really poor quality and dangerous.
Would anyone know if the supplied power supply on the CS3s are decent? (looks very basic to me)
Lastly what are the options for a better power supply, not great on electrics.
Can not spend the same again on a power supply though

I bought a cheap unit, first job was to sort out the psu. the wiring is sketchy.
Some simple round ended crimp connectors a bit of shrink tube and some hot glue over the finished item and it safe as houses
if you plan on moving it about alot perhaps fasten to a larger piece of board so that the wires are supported, it' s not difficult to work out once it is in front of you, cost is around a tenner tops for all the bits.

Have a look at the Tuxing range, I bought one the 063 model, it’s the same as the Wulf £400 one but from Amazon varies between £200 odd pounds upwards. I paid £230 but have seen it cheaper since then. Had mine well over 18 months and it is fine for the price if a little on the noisy side! Just follow the instruction manual, I had no previous experience with compressors, so if I can manage, so can anyone. Lots of stuff has been posted on the forum before, you might want to have a search.
I would say buy the best you can afford, I have recently purchased the Hills compressor, which is excellent but of course lot more money!
